Members of our Student Representative Council (SRC) attended the “Africa Day” at the Library in the Docklands on Saturday, 13 April as part of the Victorian Youth Week 2019.
The Victorian Youth Week was celebrated for an entire week, offering our youth an opportunity to express their ideas and views, and act on issues that affect their lives. Africa Day Australia, with the support of the Department of Health and Human Services in Victoria and the Incubate Foundation, hosted a Youth Week Event which featured:
- Health and wellbeing presentation and Q&A session with particular focus on Mental Health and Wellbeing
- Professional Panel discussion featured successful young professionals
- Performances by contemporary African artists
Our students had the opportunity to be part of social networking and be part of a Q & A session with professionals.
