We are delighted to announce that our Student Representative Council members (SRCs) have partnered up with Shoebox4Syria Australia, a Sydney-based, non-profit organisation for the children who are orphaned and displaced in Syria. This is their third year running the campaign for Syria. Our SRCs have come on board with them to give the gift of giving from Melbourne.
The aim is to have at least 20,000 Eid Ul-Fitr gift boxes to be distributed across the different camps in Syria. It takes 6 weeks for shipping to Syria. Al Siraat will dispatch the goods on the last week of school term to make it to Sydney on time.
The project starts from today, Monday 26 February. DEADLINE is Friday, 23 March 2018.
