Earlier this month, our Year 9/10 boys team had taken the challenge of competing against other respected Islamic schools for the Bachar Houli Cup.
The team demonstrated sportsmanship and embraced their friendships but most importantly took accountability for their choices and actions on and off the football pitch.
Although results did not fall our way, it did not stop the team from performing to their highest ability individually and encourage each other to meet that level as a team.
We had major success with our own Year 10 student Mohamed Anabtawi winning the longest kicking competition against 6 other schools and taking home the big prize.
We left the day proud of the effort and image we left as a well respected Islamic College.
