On the 26th August, our Year 7 and 8 Senior boys participated in the Bachar Houli Cup Finals.
The students were in for a challenge in playing against 8 other Islamic schools within Victoria. The boys played amazing matches, winning a game and loosing some only by a couple of goals.
Four boys from Team Al Siraat were selected for other activities such as the goal kicking competition and a 100m sprint race, while others enjoyed a nice FREE sausage sizzle supplied by Fettayleh small goods.
Issah Taleb finished in 3rd place out of 8 boys in the goal kicking challenge while Abubakar Sheeqey also finished in 3rd place out of 24 boys running in the 100m Sprint.
Well done to the boys on their great efforts, mashaAllah. We look forward to taking part in the Bachar Houli Cup next year once again, inshaAllah.
