Book Week is the perfect time to read – may it be a new or classic novel or different genre. We have received the wonderful book recommendation below by Abdurrahman Ahmed Saad from Year 3B about Enid Blyton’s classic novel series "The Famous Five" which we are pleased to be sharing with you today:
"Famous Five" is an adventure series written by Enid Blyton. There are 21 books in the series. The novels follow George (her actual name is Georgina), her cousins Julian, Dick and Anne, as well as George’s beloved dog Timmy. They find treasure, discover secret passages, defeat bad guys & do lots of other exciting things.
I like how the books start like any other normal story but then something unusual happens and it starts to get mysterious. As the story continues, the plot starts making more sense and by the end, the Five are able to resolve the problem that had come across their path.
One thing I dislike about "Famous Five" is that Book 1 is not as exciting as compared to the other books in the series but I suppose that it’s important because it helps build the foundation for all the other books.
My favourite book is “Famous Five: Five Go To Smuggler’s Top”.
I would give the Famous Five series 5 out of 5 stars!
