"Antibiotic Awareness week" is a global initiative running from 17-23 November 2014 designed to encourage the community to learn more about antibiotic resistance. The World Health Organisation has flagged antibiotic resistance’s one of the greatest threats to human health, and NPS MedicineWise (a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to building a medicine wise Australia) a part way through a five year campaign to reduce inappropriate use of antibiotics within Australia.
Antibiotic resistance is a community problem, and everyone is a part of solution. At Al SIraat College, we will join the fight against antibiotic resistance and help building understanding amongst students about this important issue.
