Our cycling team of six female staff members and one student, successfully participated in this year’s Great Cycle Challenge and helped raise funds and awareness for kids fighting cancer.
The Challenge officially came to an end on Monday, 31st October with "Team Al Siraat" having
raised $8,344.68 and
ridden 811 km.
The Great Cycle Challenge is the annual fundraiser for the Children’s Medical Research Institute (CMRI) in Sydney, running throughout October each year since 2013. This year, Team Al Siraat joined 10,688 fellow cyclists from all walks of life across Australia to help save little lives.
All funds raised will support the CMRI to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
Team Al Siraat is also ranking on First Place on the official Leader Board in the school’s category, and 13th position Australia-wide which is a fantastic outcome for our small cycling team!
Well done on all team members' enthusiasm and combined fundraising and cycling efforts!!!. What a fantastic outcome to help gravely ill children fighting cancer. MashaAllah!!!
