Our SRCs visited the Ottoman Village Aged Care facility in Broadmeadows as part of serving the community.
The student representatives interacted with senior citizens by spending quality time, talking to them about their culture, families and hobbies. The SRCs made paper cutting butterflies for each residents as an activity. They made thank you cards for each resident and presented to them with a bunch of flowers.
Omar from Year 8B2 recited Quran for the residents at their dining hall as part of lunch hour. The residents appreciated the service the SRCs offered to them and it brought many smiles on their faces.
