On today’s Wednesday, 16 November, our Year 5/6 Basketball team represented the College at the annual Sports Carnival hosted by the Islamic School Sports Association of Victoria (ISSAV).
The girls faced 5 other schools, winning 4 of the matches drawing another. This qualified them to play in the final against Ilim College, finishing with a fantastic 2nd place overall, mashaAllah!
The boys team played a number of competitive games against other Islamic schools, winning 3 out of their four games, positioning us in the semi-final to battle for third place. Alhamdulillah, we won the game against the Australian International Academy (AIA) with a score of 11-9 and finished the tournament on 3rd place.
