The past three days/two nights saw our Year 4 students and their teachers having lots of fun and adventures at Camp Angahook in Aireys Inlet along the world famous Great Ocean Road.
Our students enjoyed the bus ride to and from the camp, taking in the fantastic ocean views along the way and enjoying a delicious stopover at the Chocolaterie &Ice Creamery in Bellbrae on their way there and having lunch at beautiful Werribee Mansion on their return trip.
Upon arrival at the campsite, students settled into their cabins and soon after, started the first of many engaging experiences. Activities ranged from
- Clifftop walk to the lighthouse
- beach experience
- the Giant Swing
- Orienteering
- Climbing Tower
- Frisby Golf
- Archery
- Outdoor chess, cricket and soccer
- evening walks after dinner
- campfire with marshmallow roasting
- movie nights.
We are certain that our Year 4's will be returning to their families with lots of exciting stories to tell from their time at Camp Angahook, with many memories to treasure for years ahead, inShaAllah.
