Our Junior School students have been celebrating Numeracy and Literacy Week with various fun activities in their classrooms last week.
Some of the many activities included a pyjama dress-up day for our Foundation to Year 2 students, with most students coming to their classes in their colourful pj's. Students were delighted to find out that their class teachers were also wearing pj's and many had brought a cuddling soft toy or pillow along as well.
Furthermore, students enjoyed a healthy breakfast together in class, listened to stories, read books and had the chance to win a jar full of jelly beans for the closest guess to "how many jellies might be in the jar?"
It was a very hands-on, interactive week which brought many laughs to both our staff and students.
