While students and staff are on break, the College is in full operation to prepare buildings and grounds for the return of our students in 2017. Our dedicated Maintenance and Site Development Team is working on the following main projects throughout the holidays:
With the College expected to grow to a student population of around 770 next year, new buildings have started to arrive and are currently set up for full use in before the new term commences in early February 2017.
Our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) building is also making good progress, with the brick walls coming up nicely since the start of this week. The building is scheduled for completion by the start of Term 2, inShaAllah.
Full steam ahead as well for our Musallah Extension which is coming along nicely, alhamdulillah.
A huge area has been cleared up on 65 Harvest Home Road, on the other side of our current main driveway. This area will become the new main Sports Oval for our students in 2017.
the Horse Paddock has been moved to the South-Western end of the College property on 65 Harvest Home Road. School ponies *Maqsood" and "Hash" have been relocated to our horse trainer’s paddock to give them all the care they required during the hot summer break. Our successful Horse Riding Program will continue in 2017.
A footpath leading to new recreational area for our Senior Girls has already been completed this year behind their class rooms. The girls can now enjoy their breakfast and lunch breaks on benches set up in the shade of trees or play and kick a ball around on the big grass area cleared for them.
