We have incorporated Islamic Art lessons into our Primary Art classrooms:
During these auspicious occasions of Eid Al-Adha, our Year 6 students have made their own prayer mats which included fabric designing, painting, lace work cutting, stitching etc.
The Year 5 students have learned Arabic calligraphy in the forms of the 99 most beautiful names of Allah which included both paper painting and fabric painting. Along with this these, the students have also successfully completed tile painting inspired by Ottoman Turkish floral motifs.
Our Primary Art Department along with the students have worked hard in producing Islamic Art projects for Eid Al-Adha. The art projects been enjoyed by the Year 5/6 students, linking it to our Islamic events and values.
