Ms Stamatia and her students have been working hard since the start of this year in putting together a collection of the students’ best art works. This collection culminated in our first ever Art Exhibition on Wednesday 4th December and was attended by both staff and parents in the open spaces of the new primary building.
With the sale of students’ paintings, the event raised over $800 which will go back towards the art program next year. This helps us obtain more items for the school such as a kiln, which we have recently purchased to fire all our pottery at school.
The primary building has taken on a refreshing look with the addition of the students’ art work displayed along its’ walls. The remaining art work will remain on display until early next year, by which time it will be ready to be replaced by newer art projects.
